The 2545 value plus model is IR's most popular two stage 10hp piston air compressor. Each IR 2545 compressor includes a 120 gallon horizontal air receiver and a 10hp industrial grade motor. This specific model operates on 200-208v three phase power.The 2545 is one of Ingersoll Rand's most popular electric air compressors. This 10hp compressor is suitable for heavy shop or industrial use. Ingersoll Rand two stage air compressors provide the quality and performance that are ideal for most applications.The heart of this 2 stage compressor is the Ingersoll Rand 2545 pump. The 2545 utilizes 100% cast iron cylinders in a v-type configuration. The cylinders and piston rings work in harmony for low oil carryover.Unlike traditional inline pumps, the 2545 design uses 3 piece finned copper intercooler to provide maximum cooling between stages. During operation, the flywheel sends air across the pump. This sends cooler air over the pump surface to keep the compressor running cool. Radial fins on the cylinders also help remove heat and provide increased cooling.An E-series magnetic motor starter is pre-installed and wired to the pressure switch and motor. Starters provide full voltage control of electric motors. Motor starters shut off the compressor when they detect harmful voltage or increased temperatures. An auto drain no longer requires you to stick your hand under the tank daily to remove moisture.IR mounts all components on a 120 gallon horizontal air receiver.
